Hide-and-Seek Mansion Best Hiding Spots

Where to hide and where to look on the Mansion map in Meccha Chameleon.

The Hide-and-Seek Mansion map is a large, decorated house filled with furniture, paintings, rugs, and household props. It is one of the most beginner-friendly maps because the surfaces are varied but readable, and there are many believable places for a painted player to fit in.

Map overview

  • Theme: Upscale house with rooms, hallways, stairs, and furniture.
  • Best for: Hiders who want clear color references and many props.
  • Seeker challenge: Large map size rewards a systematic search pattern.
Exact map layouts and object positions may change with updates. These spots are based on the current community-reported version of the map.

Top hiding spots

1. Main ballroom

Easy

The central party room is busy with balloons, chairs, ceiling decorations, and floor clutter. You can curl into a ball near the balloons, lie flat under chairs, press against the ceiling fixtures, or hide in the corners. The chaos makes it hard for seekers to check every detail.

Seeker check: Count repeated props like balloons and chairs. An extra one or an oddly shaped shadow is usually a player.

2. Study library

Easy

The study is full of bookcases, chairs, and loose objects. Lie flat on a shelf, press against the side of a bookcase, or crouch among the furniture. Use alternating brown and paper tones to mimic books, and rely on shadows for cover.

Seeker check: Look for spines that are too wide, too uniform, or slightly protruding.

3. Study chair corner

Medium

A small corner in the study has a chair near the bookshelves. You can hide underneath the chair or press against the side of the shelves. Match the wood and fabric tones of the chair and the darker wall behind it.

Seeker check: Check under furniture and along the lower edges of bookshelves where silhouettes break the pattern.

4. Between vases and the dark wall

Hard

Near the vases on the left side of a darker wall, a hider can squeeze between the props and the wall. Paint yourself to match both the vase colors and the darker background so you read as part of the decoration.

Seeker check: Compare the spacing and shapes of the vases. One that looks slightly larger or casts a different shadow may be a player.

5. Storage room and trash area

Medium

A side storage room next to a trash area offers loose objects, boxes, and dark corners. Curl up near the clutter or lie flat against a pile and paint yourself in dull browns and grays.

Seeker check: Trash and boxes that look too clean or too symmetric are suspicious.

6. Mixed room across from the bathroom

Hard

This smaller room combines bookcase, chair, and vase elements like the study and storage areas. It is risky because there is less space, but a quick paint job can let you blend into the stacked objects.

Seeker check: Search small rooms completely. Hiders often assume seekers will skip them because they look obvious.

General Mansion strategy

  • For hiders: Pick a room with colors you can match quickly. The kitchen and library are good starting points.
  • For seekers: Search one room completely before moving to the next. The mansion rewards patience over speed.
